Fino Valley and Vomano Valley

Starting point:Atri
Arrival point:Atri

After visiting the village of Atri and the surrounding area, take the s.s. 150 state road towards Morro d'Oro. After touring Morro d'Oro, proceed once again along s.s. 150 heading towards Santa Maria di Propezzano and San Clemente al Vomano. Visit these two churches and continue along s.s.150 which will then lead into s.s. 553 heading in the direction of Notaresco. After visiting Notaresco get back on s.s. 553 to return to Atri.

Upper Vomano Valley - Mavone Valley

Starting point:Teramo
Arrival point:Teramo

Take the s.s. 80 state road out of Teramo and head towards the village of Montorio al Vomano. After touring Montorio al Vomano take the s.s. 491 state road which leads to Isola del Gran Sasso, the Sanctuary of San Gabriele, Castelli, San Donato and San Giovanni ad Insulam. After visiting the church, take s.s. 491 in the direction of Santa Maria di Ronzano and the village of Castel Castagna. After visting this village take the s.s 491 once again and then the s.s. 150 for Teramo.
 

Gran Sasso - Laga

Starting point:Teramo
Arrival point:Teramo

From Teramo, travel along the s.s. 81 state road heading first towards Montorio al Vomano and then take the s.p. 43 provincial road for Pietracamela. After touring Pietracamela and the surrounding area proceed along the s.s. 80 state road which then runs into the s.p. 45A provincial road. Head towards the village of Crognaleto and Madonna della Tibia. After visiting the village and the church, take the s.p. 47, 48, and 49 and to Valle Castellana. From here proceed along the provincial roads 49 and 49A to San Vito, Piano Maggiore, Vallenquina and Manfrino Castle. After visiting the ruins of the castle, take the s.s. 81 toward Teramo.
 

Vibrata Valley

Starting point:Teramo
Arrival point:Martinsicuro

From Teramo, take the s.s. 81 state road for Campli. After touring the village of Campli and Campovalano (Necropolis and San Pietro) continue along the s.s. 81 heading towards the small town of Civitella del Tronto. After visiting the town, the Fortress and the abbey of Monte Santo, take the s.p. 8 provincial towards Sant'Omero and Santa Maria a Vico, Nereto and San Martino. Then take s.s. 259 heading in the direction of Alba Adriatica. Proceed along the same road and follow the signs for Corropoli. After touring the village and the abbey of Santa Maria di Majulano, once again take the s.s. 259 state road in the direction of Alba Adriatica. After visiting this coastal town take the s.s.16 state road towards Martinsicuro.
 

Adriatic coast

Starting point:Martinsicuro
Arrival point:Silvi

From Martinsicuro take the s.s. 16 state road for Tortoreto. After visiting the high part of the village and the beach below, continue along the s.s. 16 toward Giulianova. After visiting Giulianova, once again proceed along s.s. 16, this time towards Roseto. After visiting this coastal town take the s.p. 19 and 19D provincial roads for the hill town of Montepagano. After visiting this town take the s.s. 16 once again and proceed in the direction of Pineto. After visiting Pineto, you can take the s.p. 28B provincial road which leads up to the village of Mutignano. After touring the village get back on the s.s. 16. Just a few kilometers from Silvi, along the s.s.16 you can admire the Cerrano Tower.
